Steering and wet road handling improved since replacing the standard tyre fitment.

I bought these as they rated well performing across the board. Not top in anything but above everything that was top in at least one area. The wet grip and braking is fantastic. Performed well throughout the cold months but we had no snow this year to test them. On warm dry roads the compound or pattern does not allow for an aggressive driving style but I never intended to keep them on in the summer so this was irrelevant to me. They make a noise like driving through standing water in the wet which is strange at first but I wouldn&#39;t say generally they were any noisier than my Eagle asymmetric 2 that they replaced. Did everything I expected from them and will be re fitting them come the winter.

Though I&#39;d give these Davanti tyres a go as I&#39;ve seen a few Davanti dealers popping up all over the place. These tyres are reasonably good in snow and ice but the rest of the year it &quot;feels&quot; like you&#39;re driving on snow and ice. Very wayward and &quot;loose&quot; feel to them and a horrible bounce over 50mph like they aren&#39;t round anymore, not a wheel balance wobble but a up and down bounce which is very tiresome on longer journeys. There&#39;s a noticeable hum from the tyres like old fashioned aggressive winter tyres which changes pitch depending on angle of steering. I am a loyal supporter of winter tyres but these are like torture and not worth the grief in my opinion.

Smooth and absolutely lovely on snow, sensational grip. Great feel of safety on wet roads. Used to drive with Pirelli Sottozero 3 winter-tyres which are great too however these GoodYear UltraGrip Performance + winter-tyres are a new level of tyres.

I drive an automatic which is terrible for grip with only the slightest snowfall, and I&rsquo;m very cautious in sub zero icy weather. However with the UltraGrip Performance + tyres I was full of confidence every time I drove in sub zero weather conditions. Breaking distances were further than summer tyres, as expected, but nothing to worry about. Car performance was very good and fuel consumption while motorway cruising was better than summer tyres! There was no snowfall this year so I cannot comment.

Well,im suprised about the drivind experience with those tyres...For me there are a very soft snow tyre... With a lot of gaps to repell the snow..In dry conditions you feel a little &quot;wobly&quot; effect above 120km..Im not recomend for high speed..But for snow and rain im very satisfied...

A sure grip in all weather / road conditions

Just avoid, unless you live in Finland or something. Driving in WET and Dry, just terrible grip and I have a 4x4 Subaru with LSD. It&#39;s shocking really. Unless you drive really slow, it&#39;s OK then, but come roundabout they just don&#39;t grip doesn&#39;t matter wet or dry. Good in snow, but it should be at least good in wet as well and OK in dry, but It&#39;s crap in both wet and dry, so not good for me, will not buy again.

I didn&#39;t get these on until Feb/Mar when worst of the weather had passed. Driven on main roads &amp; motorways at temps between 3&deg;c and 16&deg;c in mixed weather without problems. Obviously they were less responsive at the higher temps but never felt dangerous. No sign of wear at all. Dry road grip when accelerating lost traction a bit too easily but cornering was predictable.
