Tyres can be noisy over rougher surfaces but seem to be lasting well. Not really had any snow to speak of to test them on properly but perform well enough in very wet conditions on roads. Fuel consumption seems to be slightly worse than with summer tyres fitted but not too noticeable, getting around 35mpg at each fill up - was getting 35 to 38 with previous tyres.

Almost the only brand left in the UK and I'd never heard of them, but I purchased anyway. They are excellent, almost as quiet as the standard Pirelli summer tyres + excellent grip in the snow, ice and slush.

Very impressive for the money. This tyre was all that was available to fit my car, normally I prefer named brands. Yet it has surpassed all my expectations and performs far better than I expected. Would certainly purchase again as it's excellent value for money.

This tyre is fantastic... I drive to ski slopes every weekend in Winter and it has helped keep me on the safe. Also my parent live off road with a 1 in 5 gradient track even with 40 cms of snow this tyre got the xtrail up the hill.

First time i've used winter tyres (I am in the UK don't normally need them but was a bad winter)After a nasty experience on black ice fitted the Master steel Winter + tyres. Grip on Ice very good, excellent in snow. Slight increase in tyre noise but acceptable. Would buy again.

Brilliant tyre. Sticks to the road in all conditions, effective handling and responsiveness on wet and dry roads. Brilliant grip on snow and ice.

Felt a little skittish when first fitted especially when applying the power through a roundabout. This was much more pronounced in the wet but never felt dangerous. Settled down after the first 500 miles and behaved slightly better. Felt surefooted and I generally never gave them too hard a time. Grips and brakes fine and more surefooted than summer tyres as the temperature drops. Would consider them again if / when buying to replace on this car or for another.

Ive noticied the grip limit is found much quicker than on normal tyres , driving briskly in dry weather on country roads the grip level soon levels off quite a lot quicker than with normal tyres , on wet or icey/snowy ground its a different kettle of fish , inspire confidence driving . Tyre wear is negliable , although i was intending to swap these around during summer , i&#39;ll run these year round .There has been a marked decline in mpg figures , perhaps 3-4 , probably due to the softer compound and extra sips

Very soft rubber, great grip on ice and in the wet, good in the snow, with extra grip particles in the tread. Great tyre at a great price. Much better than the Toyo's that I had on before. This is my future brand.

When I purchased my vehicle (preowned) it came with Nexen tyres on all four corners. I had to change the two front tyres after a few years and choose Goodyears. Last year I had to change the front tyres again because the Goodyears had worn considerably, whilst still having the same Nexens on the rear of the car since I purchased it. Hence stick with the Nexens. When I need to change the rear tyres I will definitely choose Nexens.
