When I purchased my vehicle (preowned) it came with Nexen tyres on all four corners. I had to change the two front tyres after a few years and choose Goodyears. Last year I had to change the front tyres again because the Goodyears had worn considerably, whilst still having the same Nexens on the rear of the car since I purchased it. Hence stick with the Nexens. When I need to change the rear tyres I will definitely choose Nexens.

I was not sure about purchasing these tyres at 1st, but I&#39;m pleased I gave them a go as they have performed brilliantly, Even tyre wear all the way around, kept good shape and performed very well.

Low noise (quieter than the continentals the car had as standard). Good grip all weather tyre. Had several Winguard sports before. Recommended.

Smooth and absolutely lovely on snow, sensational grip. Great feel of safety on wet roads. Used to drive with Pirelli Sottozero 3 winter-tyres which are great too however these GoodYear UltraGrip Performance + winter-tyres are a new level of tyres.

I drive an automatic which is terrible for grip with only the slightest snowfall, and I&rsquo;m very cautious in sub zero icy weather. However with the UltraGrip Performance + tyres I was full of confidence every time I drove in sub zero weather conditions. Breaking distances were further than summer tyres, as expected, but nothing to worry about. Car performance was very good and fuel consumption while motorway cruising was better than summer tyres! There was no snowfall this year so I cannot comment.

Tyres can be noisy over rougher surfaces but seem to be lasting well. Not really had any snow to speak of to test them on properly but perform well enough in very wet conditions on roads. Fuel consumption seems to be slightly worse than with summer tyres fitted but not too noticeable, getting around 35mpg at each fill up - was getting 35 to 38 with previous tyres.

Great tyres , good all round grip, as I live in Scotland the seasons change every 5mins, with plenty of rain &amp; the odd bit of snow , I do some off road driving and never got the car stuck, I do run this type of tyre all year round , but as the car is quite light I always change my tyres when they get down to 3mm , I think this is far safer ,

The tyres perform unbelievably well. Braking and grip in the wet is just phenomenal. Outstanding performance. Superb and consistent grip in heavy persistent rain along French motorway to the UK, long and short journeys.

I went for the BMW approved (star marked) Blizzak and I&rsquo;m very happy with the tyres. I&rsquo;ve had Conti Winter Contact on previous cars and in regular use I would say the Blizzak is very comparable. The car retains decent steering feel and traction on wet and dry roads plus offers a far greater level of grip on snow/slush over a regular tyre. Ride comfort seems pretty much unchanged, as always with winters there is a little more noise but it&rsquo;s slight and after 5 minutes you don&rsquo;t notice! Fuel consumption does increase very slightly over the summer tyres BUT that could be down to the cold weather as much as the tyres!

I bought these so that I wouldn&#39;t have any mishaps during the winter in my beloved car. I was worried that it would be a nightmare to drive in the snow due to being rear wheel drive and its power. I put these tyres on the front and different winter tyres on the rear and never had any problems at all - very surprised and impressed!
