Bought on the suggestion of the Romanian Dacia Duster Facebook group who do extensive tyre testing on a light(ish) 4x4 akin to the XJ Cherokee so their results deemed comparable. Very impressed with this tyre such that I have ordered another set. After a few thousand miles I had total confidence in the tyre and even happliy drove in RWD only due to the progressive nature of the AT3 Sport2. Snow performance was a big surprise as this tyre is very capable.

My style of driving consist of response driving to towing a caravan and leisure driving so I do quite a wide variety. I use winter tyres all year round they are better on wet surfaces don&#39;t last as long but give you more confidence in cornering, braking and when you encounter deep puddles. Has we do in the country with all the pot holes my wife used them all year to. In winter i do carry snow chains but have not used them.

From starting point it&#39;s average, braking on snow is very long, you need calculate the distance from another car. When turning, it&#39;s horrible, because the car slides to another direction. You need to turn so slow, instead of crashing. Don&#39;t recommend.

The ne thing with my car is the torque and how easy it is to get the wheels to lose traction. Coming from Michelin PS2 Sports I thought I would try out the Goodyear. One thing is obvious - the grip is immense. Way better than the PS2&#39;s which were quite old and maybe had hardened up a bit but the GY&#39;s were a fabulous choice and would definitely get again, just hope the Asymmetric 2 remains available. Don&#39;t drive much when wet but still better grip all round from these over the PS2&#39;s.

I was really impressed with these tyres, the volvo v60 D4 is a heavy car with 192bhp 400nm of torque. 235/40/18 Winter has been very wet and i would describe my driving style as quick, with moments of very fast! The grip in all weather conditions is sensational, both dry and wet there is no tyre slip even with a spirited drive. I have also tested the grip limits at low speeds around roundabouts and there is a lot more grip available than i thought there would be in the wet. Tyre life seems good after 4000km and i do mainly a mix of country lanes and dual carriage way day to day. I am very impressed and will buy these tyres again!
