In comparison to other Hankook tyre types i've used over the years these were terrible verging on dangerous in respect to grip whilst breaking in all conditions. I have removed these tyres and reverted to the part worns previously fitted. There is something very wrong with the compound of these tyres.
20.10.2023 from Gary Lyford
Grip always feels good, very impressed with how they deal with standing water on fast roads.
19.03.2021 from Neil Hulbert
Driving reponse good with low road noise.
14.02.2020 from Owen
Fitted to a 1978 Dolomite Sprint for a European endurance run. Great grip and braking - very confident drive through the Alps and on some of those crazy European motorway interchanges with tight turns. Very pleased with these tyres and will busy again for this vehicle and the modern!

29.05.2025 from Jerry
I began using these tires last winter and drove them all over Europe, on both dry and snow-covered roads, including motorways and countryside routes. So far, I have driven approximately 7,000 km on them and have not encountered any issues. They perform reliably on snow, as well as on dry and wet surfaces. The noise level from the tires does not seem to be louder than that of other tires, although this may vary depending on the type of car you drive and its level of quietness. Additionally, the price was reasonable. Therefore, I will definitely consider purchasing these tires again in the future.
22.03.2025 from Marcin
tires never arrived, money back after a month, I do not recommend
09.03.2025 from Marek
The tyres have good performance, of course the UK speed limit of 113km/h does not allow for a better test of the tyres on wet roads.
27.12.2024 from Ian
Tyres seem fine no problems so far. Have not had a chance to test on snow.

Really poor wear. Would not buy again. Was getting near 20k miles on cheaper brands. Expected more from Firestone
21.01.2020 from James
These tyres perform well, they're comfortable and they're quiet, but they're fragile and wear too quickly. They get punctured and damaged really easily and don't last as long as I would expect. I've had two full sets of these tyres but after yet another puncture I'm sick of constantly having to change them so I've had them all replaced with another brand. I won't buy these again and I don't recommend them.
07.12.2018 from A Heritage
Very good Tyre, low noise, very good in the wet.

Very good grip on snow, good on icy roads too, but like most of the winter tyres they a bit slippery on wet road. I’m driving on winter time like on summer so you can imagine what these tyres handling.

16.02.2023 from Alasdair
Fitted to the vehicle already when purchased.. They are an adequate budget tyre for perhaps city driving however they are poor in the wet. Lack any feedback in more active driving and in the wet have poor grip and braking performance with significant understeer in even damp conditions with even slightly 'active' driving. I've removed them off the car half worn and replaced with a premium brand as I'm not comfortable with their performance on mainly wet UK roads.
12.01.2023 from Ian
I bought these tires as a cheaper alternative to a Continental tire, because the grip in wet conditions was rated excellent. That seems to be true. This type of tire is designed for lower rolling resistance and increased fuel economy - often that comes with lower wet grip. Not in this case.
06.12.2022 from Yashwant
Always use this brand and model of tires. Because of its durability, and reliability. Best for me.
05.02.2022 from George "Warrior"
- Pretty good-short-braking and grip. In both wet and dry. Also, very good road feedback. - Comfort, economy, and quite tyres. With pretty good quality and price. - I will buy it again and again, for real. -Highly recommend it for me. 27.08.2022 from Tessa Bright
Have use these tyres from 15k to 33k km (car had they when I bought it. By the time I got them, they were about one third used. Dry grip fine, wet grip for cornering, braking and traction not good at all. Because of the hard rubber though, I think they will last till at least 40k km. Wear is even, balance is maintained and tyres are still quiet at 33k km. My main issue is horrible bump thump and shock adsorption of sharper road imperfections, like speed control strips and potholes where the tyres feel like they are made up of almost solid rubber. Had resorted to running them 10 percent under recommended pressure just to live with them in this respect. Recently rode in a same car year/ model as mine running non-RFT tyres and the shock absorption capabilities are as different as night and day. Car feels like it actually has air in the tyres, not solid rubber! Will be fitting non-RFT tyres to my car soon.

15.09.2018 from James R
This is the only tyre in this profile/size 175/65 R15 that allows me to enjoy the mini’s true character (the go kart handling!). This tyre has reasonable/good roll resistance (!) and great grip and handling. Most tyres these days feel like it’s on jelly with the “low roll resistance” fashion. I’ve not seen better fuel economy with the others in any case. Obviously because they grip well they wear more quickly than say a Michelin energy but really this is the only premium tyre I’ve found that is like a sports tyre in characteristics for this profile and 15inch...which works well on the mini. It doesn’t need big rims and low profile tyres with these continentals.
21.05.2015 from James
My favoured tyre and well priced
02.03.2015 from j fishwick
Much less road noise with these tyres on chipping type surfaces. A big improvement on tyres fitted when car was new by skoda
