Though I&#39;d give these Davanti tyres a go as I&#39;ve seen a few Davanti dealers popping up all over the place. These tyres are reasonably good in snow and ice but the rest of the year it &quot;feels&quot; like you&#39;re driving on snow and ice. Very wayward and &quot;loose&quot; feel to them and a horrible bounce over 50mph like they aren&#39;t round anymore, not a wheel balance wobble but a up and down bounce which is very tiresome on longer journeys. There&#39;s a noticeable hum from the tyres like old fashioned aggressive winter tyres which changes pitch depending on angle of steering. I am a loyal supporter of winter tyres but these are like torture and not worth the grief in my opinion.

When I purchased my vehicle (preowned) it came with Nexen tyres on all four corners. I had to change the two front tyres after a few years and choose Goodyears. Last year I had to change the front tyres again because the Goodyears had worn considerably, whilst still having the same Nexens on the rear of the car since I purchased it. Hence stick with the Nexens. When I need to change the rear tyres I will definitely choose Nexens.

I was not sure about purchasing these tyres at 1st, but I&#39;m pleased I gave them a go as they have performed brilliantly, Even tyre wear all the way around, kept good shape and performed very well.

Low noise (quieter than the continentals the car had as standard). Good grip all weather tyre. Had several Winguard sports before. Recommended.

Our other car is a kuga and if I was reviewing it on that it would be a differant review however given the car has over 300lb/ft of torque these aren&#39;t the tyres you want on the rears (they were on the car when I bought it). In the wet the traction control light is a permenant fixture if I get spirited and corners can be challenging if taken with some gusto so in short on a focus or an Astra fine but something with a bit of oomph I would pass on them and spend a bit more. You&#39;ll only end up taking them off

Such an amazing tyre from Yokohama. Equally as good, if not better, than both Uniroyal and Yokohama winter tyres that I have used in the past. So much quieter too than winter tyres. Top rated traction on both snow and ice. I have passed taxi drivers and over enthusiastic prestige German car drivers trying to go up steep snow covered hills as the Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 just kept on going with confidence and tenacious grip. I would swear blind that my humble Skoda Octavia Combi was a 4 x 4 rather than FWD! I understand that this tyre is TUV Sud approved and I can totally as to understand why. Such good valve tyres so go and purchase some, you will not regret it!

Piacevolmente impressionato, gomme silenziose, consumi bassi e ottimo grip. Per una guida 80% extraurbana e 20% cittadina con andatura tranquilla sono veramente ottime. Magari le crossclimate della Michelin saranno pi&ugrave; performanti, ma a questo prezzo &egrave; difficile trovare di meglio.

Sticks well to the road on corners in all conditions at all speeds. Gives confidence. Tyre is 225/40 R18. Not size available in drop down menu here. Built in kerb protection is welcome on such low profile tyres. Good value tyres, have used this brand for years over about 500,000miles with no issues, lasting 30000 miles plus on drive axles and had 66000miles on trailing rear axle pair!

Brilliant tyre. Sticks to the road in all conditions, effective handling and responsiveness on wet and dry roads. Brilliant grip on snow and ice.

Felt a little skittish when first fitted especially when applying the power through a roundabout. This was much more pronounced in the wet but never felt dangerous. Settled down after the first 500 miles and behaved slightly better. Felt surefooted and I generally never gave them too hard a time. Grips and brakes fine and more surefooted than summer tyres as the temperature drops. Would consider them again if / when buying to replace on this car or for another.

Ive noticied the grip limit is found much quicker than on normal tyres , driving briskly in dry weather on country roads the grip level soon levels off quite a lot quicker than with normal tyres , on wet or icey/snowy ground its a different kettle of fish , inspire confidence driving . Tyre wear is negliable , although i was intending to swap these around during summer , i&#39;ll run these year round .There has been a marked decline in mpg figures , perhaps 3-4 , probably due to the softer compound and extra sips
