These tyres in my rear wheel drive BMW are grippy in the dry, but leave me yearning for more in the wet. The car will &quot;step-out&quot; if I punch it whilst the road is even midly damp. My tracking was done at the same time as having these fitted so that is not a factor. The car will also step out if the road is more greasy looking.

Originally on rear axle for approx 2 k miles, no wear at all. Now on front axle, grip and feedback in wet and dry in great, including on gravelly / light muddy patches in country parking areas and in cold weather. Most impressive aspect of the Vredesteins is the directional stability ( steering centring) and also quietness on the front axle compared to the neatly new Nankang all weather tyres that were on beforehand. No snow this year so not tested on snow! Highly recommended.

All round good tyre, quite noisy on the highway though. Three out of four tyres developed sidewall dents that I read are just a cosmetic defect luckily.

I live off road network 1000ft up in pennines. Encounter the following mud grass gravel floods sow and ice. I did hill farming for neighbour driving off tracks. I drive bmw like you would a land-rover when off road network. Was trained by British Leyland many years ago and drove land-rover countryside ranger.

Really poor wear. Would not buy again. Was getting near 20k miles on cheaper brands. Expected more from Firestone

These tyres perform well, they&#39;re comfortable and they&#39;re quiet, but they&#39;re fragile and wear too quickly. They get punctured and damaged really easily and don&#39;t last as long as I would expect. I&#39;ve had two full sets of these tyres but after yet another puncture I&#39;m sick of constantly having to change them so I&#39;ve had them all replaced with another brand. I won&#39;t buy these again and I don&#39;t recommend them.

Supposed to give excellent fuel efficiency. Getting poorer MPG that I did from my Continental Sports! Difficult to say but wear does not look too good on front, doubt I'll get another 12k out of them!

Very good tyre, but wears very quickly. But again, if you want solid grip in wet, the compound has to be soft and it means it will wear quicker than others. Had p-zero previously, was a bit noisy, dunlop makes much less noise.

Steering and wet road handling improved since replacing the standard tyre fitment.

I bought these as they rated well performing across the board. Not top in anything but above everything that was top in at least one area. The wet grip and braking is fantastic. Performed well throughout the cold months but we had no snow this year to test them. On warm dry roads the compound or pattern does not allow for an aggressive driving style but I never intended to keep them on in the summer so this was irrelevant to me. They make a noise like driving through standing water in the wet which is strange at first but I wouldn&#39;t say generally they were any noisier than my Eagle asymmetric 2 that they replaced. Did everything I expected from them and will be re fitting them come the winter.
