The tyres perform well for day to day driving, but lack confindence in the intial turn if your pushing the car. The brakng performance in a straight line whiles in wet is incredible and reliable. Accelerating in the wet very good but not as good as the braking. The tyres do not make much noise on the motorway and seem to be puncture resistant. I would not recommend these tyres for those who want to push the their on the weekend as they simply let go.

The tyres have provided a remarkable improvement in handling and grip, inspiring confidence that translates into improved A-B times as well as being more comfortable than the previous tyres i.e. Nexen.

After using Michelin tires for the past 20 years model PS4, ENGERY SAVER, the cross climates on this vito crew sport, the tire life has being shocking, 8,000 miles and there so expensive 1k a set, so decided to give the Goodyear&#39;s ago, I&#39;m was shocked at how well these are performing, the ride is so much better, the Michelins have straight side walls, which ride very hard, you feel every bump..... Goodyear&#39;s ride comfort, life and grip has been amazing I&#39;ve done 17,000 miles and there is still life on the rear tires, id say there will do 22,000, and an set of these is 600 quid.... see you later Michelin, all my vans and cars are going Goodyears.....

This is the second time I have bought a full set of these tyres. I mostly drive on motorways, country roads and off road. My fuel efficiency went up when I put on my first set. The ride is more comfortable and the grip is excellent in dry and wet weather. They have performed well on snow. Despite being all weather the rate of wear is very good. I would definitely buy them again.

My tyre size was 205 55 16 but not in the list! Unbelieveble in wet surface but average on dry breaking. Good aquaplanning and snow traction. Good comfort but average noise.

Tires keep the vehicle nicely on the road, no traction problems. On ice British roads they perform great no problems stopping or going.

These are a great tyre at a decent price point, and although the price has been creeping up, I would buy them again. The wet weather handling is especially good and gives real confidence in heavy rain.

Very confidence inspiring tyre sadly all four tyres started cracking badly at the base of the tread grove after only two years. I rated Avon tyres very highly in the past but I would never buy the brand again.

Was warned against this make and model by a friend in kwik fit who said the tyres perish and crack along the tread and I&rsquo;m aft he was right. I only ignored his advice because they were cheap.

I have used these tyres on previous cars and find them excellent winter tyres. I believe everyone in the UK should fit winter tyres for the winter season.

Such an amazing tyre from Yokohama. Equally as good, if not better, than both Uniroyal and Yokohama winter tyres that I have used in the past. So much quieter too than winter tyres. Top rated traction on both snow and ice. I have passed taxi drivers and over enthusiastic prestige German car drivers trying to go up steep snow covered hills as the Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 just kept on going with confidence and tenacious grip. I would swear blind that my humble Skoda Octavia Combi was a 4 x 4 rather than FWD! I understand that this tyre is TUV Sud approved and I can totally as to understand why. Such good valve tyres so go and purchase some, you will not regret it!

make a test. swich off the engine, windows down, let the car roll and just listen this incredible tyre sound... the worst tyres i had ever. (the noise starts at about 5km/hr).

The most expensive conti's I've ever purchased (x4) Ouch!! I've bought a lot of other conti's in the past. Inc Sportcontact & Uniroyal tyres. Ecocontact5 are noisy, very average grip levels in wet & dry conditions. Poor wear levels for a so called eco tyre :-( Neither do I like the feel of them during cornering. I will not buy these budget/mid range level tyres again. I really don't have anything positive to say about these tyres. Apart from when I'm going to change them. Buy another mid range tyre instead or even a budget & save money ;-)
