Bought these to supplement some identical branded ones with a 2021 date code. The newer tyres are made in India, have much thicker sidewalls, the rubber feels harder and they weigh noticeably more. I&#39;ve put them on the back and they&#39;re ok, but the quality has certainly dropped.

I noted a vibration when over 60 MPH on the motorway, a few days after the tyres were fitted and balanced. i took them for rebalancing, but this did not stop the vibration sensed through the steering wheel. Jacking up the front wheels I found that one tyre had a flat spot about 70mm long and 3 mm deep. Instead of returning this for replacement it was quicker and more convenient to switch the tyre from front to back, the vibration was then not noticeable on the steering wheel. I have had this brand and type for years and this was the first problem.

Quiet and reliable. Roadholding is very good and wear appears low. I had previously fitted two of the same tyre to the rear and this was to complete the set. Very pleased

Really excellent in the dry for an all-season tyre. Very progressive handling, too. Even at the Nordschleife racetrack they were unvelievable. Infinite amount of grip, you can feel your eyes about to exit your head when braking for every corner. Now on front axle, grip and feedback in wet and dry in great, including on gravelly / light muddy patches in country parking areas and in cold weather. Most impressive aspect of the Vredesteins is the directional stability ( steering centring) and also quietness on the front axle compared to the neatly new Nankang all weather tyres that were on beforehand. No snow this year so not tested on snow! Highly recommended.

It&#39;s not a fast car so you push it round corners, I&#39;ve got them on the back so more to do with floating. Dry/wet work well, when pushed you feel the blocks moving about so you know the limit, haven&#39;t pushed over that, tend to get small stones stuck in tread but never cause a prob, would I buy again, well yes.

Great tyres for the price. Kept grip in the snow and ice we had in winter. Noticed a big difference in grip compared to my all seasons tyres. They perform brilliantly for the price. Extra fuel consumption is minimal. Would purchase again.

There was an error with my address, the courier got a mixed of and different address which dose not exist , and therefor could not deliver my tyers . I am still waiting for any response to the investigation into where my tyers are from mytyres , at the recommendation of the courier . In short I had to use the deteriorating winter tyres I fortunately still had , which performed perfectly adequately for the duration of what winter we had .

These are fabulous tyres I cant believe the difference it made having winter tyres on ,I felt so much safer and more confident as a female driver who had a really nasty crash in winter with ice and snow on the road the thought of driving in bad conditions again left me wanting to get the bus ! however a driving instructor recommended these winter tyre and I haven't need to get the bus at all lol ,in fact im changing my car this summer and will buy the tyres again for my new car well worth the money for peace of mind.
