I have had nothing but puncture after puncture with Pirelli. 2 Rosso 2&rsquo;s and even worse Rosso 3&rsquo;s x2, too soft for British road&rsquo;s but I am held to ransom as I can&rsquo;t get Michelin&rsquo;s in the size any more for some reason.

Good grip wet &amp; dry(&gt;10degC) and reasonable feedback, mainly used on fast A and twisty B roads. Ride quite hard so only about 2500 miles from rear tyre, about double for front. Comparable to other tyres, is Michelin road smart 4

The best tyre for fast riding in road and track. Sharp steering wheel and and to much grip in high lean angles. Extremely grip in dry and very good in wet with the best mileage in this category.

In my experience as an Advanced Riding Instructor these tyres are fantastic whether making &#39;serious&#39; progress, touring or popping into town. I have used PR3s and PR4s for many years due to their grip levels in all conditions and their high mileage.

Fitted Pilot Road 4s almost a year ago now and have done a lot of touring and commuting on them in all seasons. They&#39;ve never let me down. Feel significantly more nimble than the previous Metzlers, dropping in quicker and almost popping from leaning one way to the other. Though to be fair the flat spot in the old ones probably made them feel worse than they would have done new.

I ride a Harley so speed and handling aren&rsquo;t on the agenda but I do like to have a bit of fun on the country roads around the local area. I had the tyre fitted to the front of the bike and it hasn&rsquo;t let me down yet. It&rsquo;s grip i can&rsquo;t fault but I only ride in the dry. Braking is sound and cornering offers great grip.

With almost 50years of motorcycle riding experience my focus is more on riding defensively and safely and only pushing to the (my) limits on track days. I have not done a track day on this set of tyres yet so cannot claim to have tested their abilities. That said, I have ridden in wet and dry weather conditions without any concerns over grip or stability. At this stage tyre wear appears good, as I would expect from Conti&#39;s, with no sign of squaring off. I am very happy with these tyres and am planning on replacing them with more of the same when the time comes.

Bearing in mind being a motorcycle rider with limited experience, the only noticable drawback with the Continental Motion is perhaps the compound is slightly edged towards performance which increases wear. Perhaps this is normal although my riding style is .... how should i say, .... reserved even careful and therefore do not get full use from high performance tyres. Nice stable tyre. They were fitted to the bike when I bought it and saw no reason to try anything different when it came time to replace the rear tyre
